The Stormlight offices occupy a 1930s industrial warehouse in the heart of Portland’s creative district. Presented with a raw space and minimal infrastructure, the objective was to transform the building into a sophisticated, forward-looking, open-plan office for a boutique investment firm.

Playing off the industrial identity of the building, we inserted confident, strategic architectural interventions that emulate the boldness of the company’s culture. Using humble materials in an elevated application, mixed with the client’s existing treasures and new furnishings, brings an eclectic, humanist feel to the office environment.
