Case Study 001

Just Compassion

Just Compassion is a nonprofit serving unhoused adults in Washington County, offering emergency housing and supportive services. The new human-forward facility includes a day center with dining, showers, and social support on the ground floor, and a 60-bed emergency shelter above. The design prioritizes warmth, dignity, and safety through residential-style finishes, Pacific Northwest-inspired colors, and recycled materials — fostering a welcoming environment where guests feel seen, heard, and valued.

The Grange

The Grange estate invites guests to connect with the Willamette Valley through authentic, wine-centered experiences with a distinct Oregonian identity and unparalleled views of the Willamette Valley and the Cascade Mountains beyond. Restored oak savanna fills the space between the vineyards, the winery, and owner’s residence, re-establishing a connection to this land’s earlier state.
