The Minam River Lodge is a remote retreat located in the Eagle Cap Wilderness in Northeast Oregon. Accessed only by foot, horseback, or backcountry airstrip, it is the perfect place for people seeking to reconnect with nature. Helm led the design and construction management, hired a team of local craftspeople to build the lodge, and maximized the use of local materials, milling wood from site.

Given the remote location, an off-the-grid infrastructure provides power and water to lodge and cabin buildings and includes a wood-fired heat exchanger, super-insulating and low energy systems.
